Hi! I'm Isabel, a creative writer and communications professional with 5+ years of experience in education and the nonprofit space.

I work in graphic design, copy writing, social media strategy, and video editing. I've utilized programs like Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, Blackbaud, Canva, and Hootsuite. 

My most recent role was as Associate Director of Communications at Prep for Prep, an education access and leadership development nonprofit. A large part of this role was directing social media content. In my time as the social media lead, Prep saw a 100% increase in audience engagement within a single calendar year. This past spring, I led the email marketing campaign to generate donations and ticket sales for Prep’s annual fundraising gala. The event raised more than $4.7 million and was one of the highest grossing galas in the last 20 years of Prep’s history.

Outside of work, I write poetry. I love to read, hike, and perform with my color guard team. Sí, hablo español.
